  Awful company!
  
  I've never written a review online, but unfortunately I felt the need to comment. I would steer VERY clear of Absolute Realty Group if interested in renting or buying a property in Central Florida. Absolute Realty Group is only interested in making a buck, not for caring about the home buyer or renter. They continuously passed the buck on to me the renter when I rented a townhouse. The folks who work in the property management division are not pleasant people. Read the lease agreement carefully, you will basically sign your life away.
  
  What really pissed us off:
  
  1) I had to pay one month's worth of utilities without even living in the property or being under lease. I moved out and was still forced to pay a utilities bill because THEY said they would move the account back in to their name. We canceled every other account, but specifically left that one for them to handle. Well, they never took control of the account and we lost money. We asked that they cover the bill because it was their mistake and misinformation to us, and of course they rejected that notion. We ended up losing a security deposit from the utilities company too!
  
  2) We didn't mind living in the townhouse, but the way they worked with renters — especially us — made it certain that we were going to do everything possible to get out of that place when our lease was up. They don't even guarantee that the dishwasher, the washer or the dryer will work, because "they're luxury items not necessities." Oh, the garage may or may not come with a door opener. Ours didn't ...
  
  3) Absolute Realty forces you to have your carpets professionally cleaned before moving out. Otherwise, goodbye deposit! First time I've ever seen that in a lease. Usually, I can clean the carpets myself, but apparently this was not good enough for them.
  
  4) It took them 8 months to get a pool key for the neighborhood. We asked like 40 times! Finally, we make the right calls and contact the right people. We have to pay for the pool key even though we have to give the key back in 4 months. Obviously, Absolute Realty should have paid for the key.
  
  We were ideal renters, we were perfect tenants. We made the townhouse better by living in it. We took the awful wall paper off the cabinets in the kitchen; we planted nice flowers in the front walkway; we seeded some grass in the yard; we added a water filter to the kitchen sink; cut tree limbs by the front door. We added value to that property. Never a noise complaint. Never a late rent check. Never an unmowed lawn (required to do your own lawn and landscaping, yep!). When we cleaned the place and moved out, we left it in better shape than we received it. Carpets were professionally cleaned, no bugs or dead frogs on the floor (like we received it). It was truly spot less.
  
  I can honestly say after renting my entire life in the state of Florida, they were by far the worst group I've ever dealt with. I've lived in South Florida, Central Florida, Northern Florida, lots of different rentals! It was like pulling teeth to get them to fix anything, to do anything on the dated property. Most of the time nothing happened, and we just had to live with it. That's why we gave them the nickname Absolute "Crap-alty." Part of the joy of renting is not having to worry about household fixes.

  That's a bold-faced lie. They didn't make things right with us; they won't make things right with you.
